Chakra: Sanskrit term meaning wheel or disc. A fully formed chakra, which is quite rare, would actually appear to be a sphere rather than a flat disc. Chakras move, or spin, and control the amount of incoming energy.

Etheric: an invisible medium often referred to in esoteric texts as the etheric fluidium, or etheric fluid. An etheric template is presumed to surround every living organism, and indeed the Earth itself.

Astral: technically refers to the stars. The astral field, like the etheric, is another layer of invisible "information" that surrounds all organisms. The astral field is also referred to as the emotional body.

Acupunture Meridian: In Chinese medicine, the acupuncture meridians are lines of force or energy which are located around, through and adjacent to the body. Meridians are made up of acupuncture points, and it is these points which are "needled" during acupuncture treatment.

Chi: the name given to the energy which flows through points and meridians.

Therapeutic Touch: a method of hands-on healing using subtle energy, perception and touch.

Polarity Therapy: a system of bodywork which seeks to bring balance to the body through movement, touch and manipulation.

Subtle Energy Fields: invisible to the human eye, these fields would comprise any that are usually beyond measurement by standard means. These would consist of chakras, etheric fields, astral fields, etc. Most subtle fields, can, however, be felt or noticed by the individual.

Kirlian Photography: a system of photography where the energy pattern of the item pictured is visible. One of the most famous of these photos is the picture of the cut leaf, where the whole of the leaf’s energy pattern is visible, even though portions of the leaf itself had been removed prior to the picture being taken.

Kilner Glasses:

Energy Signatures: much like a fingerprint, energy signatures are unique to the individual plant, animal, human or other life forms, such as a forest or a school of fish. An example of an energy signature would be a Kirlian photograph. Other systems exist with which to measure such subtle fields and signatures.

Bio-energy Analysis: a system of measurement to determine the status of the subtle energy fields or patterns surrounding a particular object.

Total Subtle Information Field: all the information contained within and around an organism.
