This is Terri Munsey (Therese and Paul Braunecker’s daughter). I am writing to see about getting some more Barley Gold.

 

I must tell you how my baby is doing. I have taken Colonel (my 11 1/2 year old Rhodesian Ridgeback) off his one medication that I was unsure about to begin with. He is fine and my intuition was right…I didn’t think he needed it. I also stopped buying arthritis/joint medications for canines because they just weren’t working and I was (for the most) part wasting my money. I have him on a higher dosage of Ester-C and the Barley Gold.

Here’s the exciting story. Colonel had become so arthritic that he could barely walk. He looked so tight from his mid-back area down that it hurt me to watch him. His legs would frequently fold beneath him and it was breaking my heart not to be able to help because I love him so much. We tried everything any vet ever suggested. I would hold my breath when he walked down the stairs of the deck because sometimes he would fall and I would have to rush out to help him.

WELL…when we were home for my dad’s funeral mom suggested I put some Barley Gold on his food – so I did. She sent us home with a little and I have continued to put it on his food. As soon as Colonel hears me fixing Sophia’s food (our other canine baby) he now jumps up and sometimes TROTS to his rug (we have several rugs lined up so he doesn’t have to slide on the hardwood floors) and stands there waiting for me to finish his food. There are days if I am not fast enough that he barks at me. My sweetie pie weighs 118 and when he surprised me with a bark it shocked my entire system! He then runs trots over to his dish and devours his food very quickly. Here is the best part though. I was standing guard at the back door about a week ago watching him go down the steps and my mouth fell open. Instead of his little back paws sliding out from under him as he went down the stairs he planted each paw firmly on the step and walked all the way down without falling or slipping one time!!! I had to call my mom and husband at work. He even went to the bathroom in the far corner of our yard and when he was finished he RAN back to the house and walked back up the steps into the house. This is HUGE!!!!! He has also been more alert. He used to sleep all the time. He is awake and alert much more now. He still does his fair share of sleeping but I am seeing those beautiful brown eyes much more during the day.

Don’t get me wrong. He still gets a little stiff when the weather changes and sometimes he still slips but it is getting less and less.

I want to keep him on the Barley Gold to see how much better he can actually get. I want to keep my precious boy around as long as I possibly can…as long as he is not suffering of course. I want to thank you and Dr. Moscow for offering such a wonderful product. I can personally swear by it. Colonel has had the series of Adequan shots and has been on the strongest medication you can get. None helped him like the Barley Gold.

I want to try to stock up on the barley little by little so I can get on it as well. When I had my reading with Dr. Moscow he told me that some people on the other side said I need to take better care of my self…I take care of others and neglect myself. They are right. I am finding that I am doing it again. I took the barley a couple of times but when I saw the miraculous turnaround in Colonel I stopped taking it so he could have it. I want to get on it too.

I would highly recommend that if anyone has an arthritic pet they may want to try it. I swear by it because I have seen the results.
